The hotel is situated in the city centre close to the bay & the archipelago is only a block away and available via tour boats during summer season. The hotel is the largest hotel in the upper east part of smaland. The standard is very high and the room is equipped with, beds from the famous bed maker DUX. Wireless, High Speed Internet (free of charge), Digital TV & Movie channels, direct line phone, bathroom with shower or bathtub. Desk and comfortable chair for those late LapTop work nights. The rooms have been renovated during the years and most recently in 2009. The front desk is manned 24 hours a day and during nights for extra security trained night staff from a famous guard company. The hotel is equipped with a high-end fire detection system and has monthly scheduled security tests for the consistency of a complete protection. The room is equipped with eye portholes and some of the rooms have access to a deposit box / small safe, for those without this facility, guarded deposit boxes in front desk area.

In the large lobby in the frontdeskarea there is a beautiful fresh atrium, where the breakfast buffet is served in the morning, lunch on workdays, (2 todays special, wok, grill & vegetarian dishes & large buffet of salad) & in the evenings it serves as a dining room for the small dish menu of Kapten Lindstrom bar & restaurant. Kapten Lindstrom is the hotel main restaurant with great food and drink, the bar section even called Whiskey bar contains of more than 150 different kinds of whisky and whiskey
